on the coast of the city.
A video made by International Union for Co
nservation of Nature (IUCN) representative shows the green turtles
on the Sandspit beach.
The green turtles are class
ified as endangered by WWF due to excessive harvesting of their eggs, hunting of the adults, being caught in fishing gear and loss of nesting beach sites.
